Privacy Policy
Daymark exists to protect people from fraud, so we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated: collect little, share only with the processors that run the service, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Account information. Name, email, phone number, and authentication factors, managed by our identity provider, Clerk.
- Billing information. Handled by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we see subscription status and plan.
- Verification records. When you ask us to verify something, we keep a record of what you shared (the suspicious message, number, or link) and our verdict. This protects you if there's a dispute and helps us recognize repeat scam patterns.
- Usage data. Standard logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the service secure and working.
What we never collect
Your seed phrases, private keys, or exchange passwords. We will never ask for them, and you should never share them with us — or anyone.
How we use it
- To provide onboarding and run the verification line.
- To bill your membership and communicate with you about the service.
- To protect members: impostor numbers, domains, and scripts we catch are added to our checks in anonymized form.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the product on our behalf: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each receives only what it needs. We don't sell personal data or share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law, or to law enforcement with your consent when you report a fraud.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Verification records are kept for up to three years, then deleted or anonymized. Billing records are kept as required by tax law.
Your choices
- Access, correct, or delete your data: email us and we'll act within 30 days.
- Close your account: your data is deleted on the schedule above.
- Marketing email is opt-in and every message has an unsubscribe link.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Account access supports passkeys and authenticator-app MFA — and we encourage you to turn them on. Payment credentials are held by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider.
Children
Daymark is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll email you before they take effect.
